Paid Forum Posting and Easy Writing Club

If you have the passion for Writing Articles and Responding to Forums, please check this out!

Paid Forum Posting & Easy Writing Club (by OJP)

This post is in behalf of www.onlinejobsphilippines.com or OJP (where I'm an active online volunteer).  It's an introduction to the new "writing club" that OJP will be launching this month.

(Please read and follow instructions carefully...  thanks ^_^)

Ever since I started this blog, about two years ago, I have received (and still receiving - here and via OJP) a lot of inquiries regarding "EASY ONLINE JOBS" but sadly there are no easy jobs online.  Yes, there are lots of easy online programs you can join (PTC and/or GPT sites.) but then again - earning rate is very low and slow, especially if you don't invest to become a premium/paid member of said sites or don't have a lot of active referred members.

So in order to answer the need for easy & worthwhile part-time jobs online (and after a few online "testings" of course ^_^), OJP came up with this "writing club" where you can...
  • Join for free (no fees ever!);
  • Develop your English writing skills;
  • Familiarize yourself with internet earning programs;
  • Be part of an online group with like-minded members;
  • Work part-time (during your spare time);  and most importantly,
  • Earn enough to pay a few monthly bills at home (i.e. internet, cable, phone, etc.).

Here are the club's initial requirements:
  1. You must know how to follow simple English instructions.
  2. You must know how to express yourself in written English.
  3. You must have a GMail Email Account.(Click here to create your free Gmail account)
  4. You must have a PayPal Account, unverified account is okay.(Clickhere to create your free PayPal account), and
  5. You must have at least 1 or 2 hours of spare time a day to participate in forum discussions.

Here are the club member benefits:
  1. Earn $1.00 and up per 1 to 2 hours of forum posting.
  2. Earn $0.25 or $1.25 (PhP10 or PhP50) per short article submission, rate mainly depends on the quality & length of the article.
  3. Earn from paid tasks offered by OJP from time to time.
  4. Be able to exchange your PayPal funds into pesos and receive it via remittance centers (LBC & Western Union) or your local bank account. And most importantly again,
  5. You get to develop your English writing skills while you earn at the same time.

How to join the club / How the club works:
  1. To join, fill-up the online application form found HERE.
  2. OJP will review your application (allow up to 48 hours) and will assign you to a group head depending on your given working time.
  3. You will then receive an email with instructions on what to do next.

Tools for Video Blog Post

Yesterday while I was in the kitchen, I got back to my daughter to see that she is actually doing an instructional video about one of her projects ( A name sticker made of scotch tape)

I was so surprised and pleased with Gaby I literally said "wooow" and you will even here it in her video.

How to Make a Name Sticker by Gaby

Of course it occurred to me, that if a 6 yr old can do an instructional video using her Ipad, so can I! a 31yr old employee who has known the computer since 1997 :)

In fact I realized that It could work more effectively to others whose eyes are already tired from reading (like what happento me at times)

So  I am going to share are three tools I've tried to create video. There are more, these are just what I have tried so far.

1.) AutoScreenRecorderFree  - Get it here to try. I saved it in my Google Drive.
 This saves in your local drive and you can upload it to your blog post.

2.) Screencast - Go to www.screencast.com
This doesnt take up space in your local drive. This is shared to me by Nica Mandigma after I asked in the forum of PVAN

3.) The Old school camera that has video support / phone / ipad who has video support.
If you are using Iphone or Ipad it has direct share to Youtube function which my daughter used for her first video.

Project Hero No No!

I was involved in one project transfer wherein Im not literally the assigned project manager for the whole project.

However in my current function every new product that goes in my department becomes my new project automatically.

So I was involved in most meetings but didnt give too much attention to it since I am also running other projects of my own, in short I played it by ear. Don't be surprised if I say it was a horrible feeling when I seemed to be the hero because guess what the whole project is still moving.

To recover from the feeling I am writing down what I have learned.

1.) Be supportive of the PM. Even if you are not the PM you are a stakeholder and you are to review the Project Plan just like how the PM would do it.

2.) Work on your own project plan for your function. Leave the shortcuts to your road trips, and luck on your zodiac. Project success has its own system to succeed.

3.) Thou shall not undermine the newbie in the team. You probably have the right people and you thought they are on right seat, think again. I learned that sometimes the newbies have the most creative minds in the group and in crunch time their creativeness may be your best solution.

4.) At least be fast on your recovery plan. You may have already incurred too much costs on non value added activities which are not part of the original project budget because you failed to do your task, so at least be vigilant to work on what your recovery plan is. In case you don't know what the project contingency plan is.

5.) Review the risk management plan. Your function is in the project plan and every function have its own risk and how to manage those risk, either to mitigate or transfer.

6.) Communicate more effectively to getting results rather than joining the office politics. It's given isnt it?

7.) Review your own Discipline. At the end of the day It boils down to what is the purpose of my existence...

I am here to make your life easy as you grow your business.

Copycat, Copywrite is not the same as Copyright

A Copywriter is gifted in the art of hammering out those chic words in your thesaurus. These are the words that could sell all types of products and services or the words that educate. They are the words that would launch a thousand smiles to launch a thousand ships, now figure that out.

If you haven’t figure that out, they are the people who are called to write on magazine articles, speeches, newsletters, and infomercials. Literally from annual reports to warning signs.

Yes they are gifted and since we are the newbie and learning how to be gifted here are some tips I gathered.

1. Have a clean, clear headline. I think it’s a Rule of thumb, if you want to call attention make a big headline.
2. Who doesn’t like a great content? Sometimes a lot of hitting around the bush just doesn’t work for me. I’m not sure for others.
3. Vary between long and short sentences to give it a rhythm.
4. Don’t undermine the power of bullet point, or paragraph arrangement
5. Write in your reader’s language and the style they’re comfortable with. You don’t want to talk Chinese if you want to be international yeah?
6.  I read about using swipefile. If it always works why not try.
7. For my personal input: Keep researching on topics that you write about

Copywriter cannot Copyright, for the latter go ask a lawyer :)
